The park of business jets Gulfstream Aerospace in “Big China” (China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan), has grown to 165 airplanes and now makes more than a half of total park of the producer in the Pacific Rim (PR), it is told in the message of the company distributed in the first day of the Shanghai AVASE-2016 exhibition.
“We have endured huge growth in Big China, in particular, on the continent where we had 30 airplanes in 2010, and in the present year the company has stepped over a level in hundred cars, including including the first G650ER which has been put on the eve of an exhibition”, – the senior vice-president of the company for sales Scott Neil comments.
According to data of JetNet, in the Pacific Rim 290 airplanes of the American producer are now operated, and the share in “Big China” has reached record 65%. In addition to enough good sales, the producer actively develops also the TOIR segment. So Beijing Capital International opened in 2012 (joint venture with Hainan Group where Hainan Aviation Technik (HNAT) and Deer Jet enter) is the largest in the region. Last year 134 business jets have been serviced.
Gulfstream Beijing located at the Beijing Capital International Airport airport has a hangar of 82000 quarter of feet (7618 sq.m), and also offices and repair shops of 22000 quarter of feet (2044 sq.m) at the order. The center is completed with the personnel of the Gulfstream and Deer Jet companies which have done practical training on production and equipped with necessary means of land service and tools.
Last year in Hong Kong and Singapore Gulfstream Aerospace has invested $65 million in the services and similar centers.
