More about Airbus A300 aircrafts for sale

The first two aircraft were designated A300B1, and one of them (F-WUAB) first flew on October 28, 1972 and the second February 5, 1973 followed by two A300B2, intended for mass production. The first four machines have undergone lengthy flight tests and got the European March 15, 1974, and May 30, 1974 -American certificate. On the same day the company Air France carried out the first flight between Paris and London. Passengers were surprised by the high comfort and low noise in the cabin. April 6, 1978 Eastern Air Lines company commissioned the first A300 aircraft 38. It was a variant of the A300B4 aircraft with high fuel reserve, Kruger flaps, increased take-off weight and range. The British Government in 1978. acquired a 20 percent stake in the project. Major shareholders of the company remained Aerospatiale and Deutsche Airbus (37.9 per cent), and the Spanish CASA 4.2 percent had shares. Participants in the program have two companies: Dutch concern Fokker and Belairbus Belgian.

Since 1978, the aircraft is constantly developed and perfected the A300. The plane was a cargo A300C4 convertible version with a large cargo door on the left side. This aircraft and passenger version were replaced by new ones, which have additional rows of seats, a new cockpit for two pilots and a wide range of small refinements to reduce drag forces and the mass of the aircraft. The resulting aircraft A300-600 first flew on July 8, 1983 and became the main serial machine after the last aircraft A300B4 aircraft rolled off the lines at the end of 1984. The plane was manufactured in versions: A300-600R with increased takeoff weight and balancing fuel tank in stabilizer for increased range and A300-600 Convertible utility transport aircraft.
