Jet Aviation Vienna has received the status of the authorized service center for technical maintenance (basic and linear) the Gulfstream G550 airplanes. Earlier, a month ago, the company has got approval of EASA on linear technical maintenance of the Gulfstream G550 airplanes (GV-SP) on own production capacities in the Vienna airport.
“We are glad to an opportunity to expand the range of the services offered clients and to invite to cooperation of owners and operators of the Gulfstream G550 airplanes operated in the region of the Central Europe”, – Dennis Koch, the managing director of Jet Aviation Vienna says.
The global operator of business aircraft Jet Aviation has begun work at the International airport of Vienna, having opened division of Jet Aviation Vienna in October, 2014. Opening of new division was preceded by signing of the agreement of Jet Aviation with the GATE V and FAME Executive Aviation companies which were providers of services TOIR and FBO in Vienna before. Having had a work opportunity in the capital of Austria, the company has also got a hangar of 4000 sq.m where the authorized service center Cessna which carries out routine and unplanned maintenance, and also the services AOG for the Cessna Citation airplanes is placed.
“Demand for services in land service of business jets in this region is very high”, – the senior vice-president of the Jet Aviation company concerning MRO and FBO in regions of the Middle East and Asia Stefan Benz has in turn told. “Expansion of opportunities of department of the company will be good help in work of extremely loaded branches operating in Basel and Geneva”.
Also now Jet Aviation Vienna carries out linear service and support of AOG of the Bombardier Learjet and Challenger 300 airplanes. In the near future the company plans to add to a portfolio and other models of airplanes, such as Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Gulfstream. The technical station in Vienna includes 2000 sq.m of masterful and office rooms.
FBO Jet Aviation Vienna in the Vienna Business Aviation terminal has operational office, the room for crews, and also access to the hall for VIP-passengers. The offered services include a transfer, delivery of passengers and crews to the airplane, processing of baggage and filling of aircrafts with fuel. As the company reports, all services and the equipment will be provided by the reliable supplier.
According to Mr. Benz, as a key lock to the east, the international airport of Vienna is one of ten most important airports in Europe from the point of view of a traffic of business aircraft and is key for Jet Aviation.
