The international Aviation Federation this week has confirmed that the American operator Northern Jet Management has set a speed record in flight from the base in the Grandee – Rapids, the State of Michigan, to Naples, the State of Florida. In the flight which has taken place on April 10 Bombardier Learjet 45XR has shown the average speed of 427,97 nodes (492,5 miles/h) on this route.
Andy Himstra managed by pilots of the Northern Jet Management company and Steve Edmondson, an easy business jet for all flight has burned 537 gallons of fuel. “This record project has been developed to emphasize our ability effectively and safely to bring our clients from the Midwest to the Southern Florida less than in three hours”, – Himstra has told. “At establishment of this record we have paid special attention to work of the airplane with 100% compliance of real flight with clients onboard”.
The CEO of Northern Jet Management Chuck Cox has noted: “Our team works more than 99000 hours in a row without incidents connected by damage of property or injuries of people”.
